Episode 31: Who's Coming to Dinner?

If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why. That's the topic of today's episode. Craig and Scott discuss who they would dine with if they could choose from anyone, ever. Each bring two living and two deceased individuals to the table (see what I did there?) and discuss why they chose them. Give a listen and see if you agree.

Whether they be 'of Personality' or not, cults are a damn intriguing topic (at least we hope so). Craig and Scott take a closer look at five of the most infamous cults in American history. Episode 29: Miscellaneous Debris

This one has a little bit of everything. I wouldn't call it random, but it's definitely eclectic. Craig and Scott cover a bunch of things as they come up, such as: the podcast's new Instagram page, Scott being called a fair weather sports fan, phones and social media and the lack of quality control in the 120-count Slim Jim box...among several other things. There's even a look ahead at what the guys are planning for the upcoming episodes. Buckle up and give it a listen!

Episode 28: The Rise and Fall of The Mall

The shopping mall...it's gone from being THE place to be on a Friday night for teenagers, to almost an afterthought and a seasonal home to countless Spirit Halloween stores. With the rise of online shopping, streaming movie services and Grubhub, what reason is there to go to the mall anymore. Craig and Scott talk about their thoughts on the evolution of this one-time cornerstone of commerce. From the classic restaurants and stores they loved (who would doubt that Scott was a Hot Topic shopper...friggin weirdo) to the status of malls today, they hit on plenty to keep you interested...and hopefully laughing. Episode 27: Top Five 2--Old Forge Edition

Craig could not wait to record this one. He's been talking about it for months. The Old Forge episode! Craig and Scott recorded this one on the grounds of one of their favorite places to hang out, Christy's Motel in Old Forge, NY. The guys welcome their biggest panel of guests yet as Maddie, Brady and Alexandra all return for another appearance. And, as "Top Five" has been one of the most popular episodes for the podcast, it only made sense to run it back with three new categories to discuss. Come listen in as the panel shares their opinions on three new (albeit somewhat similar, in hindsight) categories. And then take to the comments section (or Instagram @justwhatweneedpodcast) to share your own opinions on the discussions, or anything else for that matter. Tune in and we'll see you at Christy's!

Episode 26: The Food Episode

Don't worry if you're not a food connoisseur, Craig and Scott aren't here to appeal to the 'foodies' out there. They just decided to kick back and shoot the shit about food...fast food restaurants, boneless wings vs. traditional, most dangerous way to light a grill and fruit/spiced beer, among other things...they cover a lot! And, honestly, most of it is an incredible waste of time, but, it's better than listening to silence on your way to work. So, we know you eat, there's gotta be something in this one for you. Listen in and if you don't get at least one little LOL, Craig will buy you a car.

Episode 25: Stand Up Guys

Fresh off attending a Patrick Warburton stand-up show in Albany, Craig and Scott decide to sit down and discuss some of their favorite comedians through the decades. From the trailblazers of the 1970's, all the way through some of the best of today, the guys touch on a bunch of outstandingly funny people who have been entertaining us for years. Lots of the masters of comedy are discussed, so give a listen and see if your favorite gets mentioned here. If not, be sure to leave a message in the comments section to let the guys know what a couple of dumbasses they are. Any way you look at it, it's all about the laughs, so grab your favorite beverage (or coffee, if you're riding in to work) and give it a listen, hopefully these two clowns give you a laugh.

Episode 24: A College Education

It's been many moons since Craig and Scott were in college, but Brady and Alexandra return to the podcast to talk about just that...welcome to the college episode. Brady is currently a junior at Syracuse and Alexandra is entering SUNY Oneonta as a doe-eyed freshman in August...or September...I think we get it straightened out in here somewhere. This episode is part advice, part reminiscing and part cautionary tale as Scott shares a story or two from his SUNY Plattsburgh days...oh yes, there will be blood. Where do all great ideas come from? Brilliant collaboration, divine intervention...no, apparently, it's Shark Tank. Craig and Scott dive into the vast number of items that have become household names that originated from the television show Shark Tank. You'll be amazed to hear just how many things you have in your home that originated from this television show. Scott certainly was. Craig did the research on this one and dropped all kinds of knowledge. Listen in and see how many of these everyday items that you use that hit the big time on Shark Tank.
